Duel Chips cannot be purchased or found lying on the ground. They can only be found in Turbo Packs with a random duel runner chip in it.
+1 chips are common(1:2)
+2 chips are rare(1:10)
+3 chips are ultra rare(1:20)
Endurance Chips: Endurance is about how much damage your Duel Runner can take before it breaks down(this can even happen in a duel and if it does is an automatic loss.)
Endurance +1: Increases your Duel Runners Endurance by 1. You gain +1 to your Endurance Checks
Endurance +2: Increases your Duel Runners Endurance by 2. You gain +3 to your Endurance Checks
Endurance +3: Increases your Duel Runners Endurance by 3. You gain +9 to your Endurance Checks
Speed Chips: Speed is how fast your Duel Runner goes and how many Speed Counters it can get every standby phase.
Speed +1: You gain 1 to Speed. You gain +1 to Speed Checks.
Speed +2: You gain 2 to Speed. You gain +3 to Speed Checks.
Speed +3: You gain 3 to Speed. You gain +9 to Speed Checks.
Power Chips: Power is how much your Duel Runner can push others around.
Power +1: You gain 1 to Power. You gain +1 to your Power Checks.
Power +2: You gain 2 to Power. You gain +3 to your Power Checks.
Power +3: You gain 3 to Power. You gain +9 to your Power Checks.
Speed World Chip: This chip just gives access to the Speed World Field Spell or your Duel Runner.
Speed World: If a player activates a Spell Card except a "Speed Spell" Spell Card, they lose 2000 Life Points. During the Standby Phase, place 1 Speed Counter (Max. 12) on this card. Remove 1 Speed Counter from this card for any damage you receive divided by 1000.
Speed World 2 Chip: This chip just gives access to the Speed World 2 Field Spell for your Duel Runner.
Speed World 2: If a player activates a Spell Card except a "Speed Spell" Speed Card, they lose 2000 Life Points. During the Standby Phase, place 1 Speed Counter (Max. 12) on this card. By removing a number of Speed Counters from this card, activate one of the following effects:
4: Inflict 800 damage to your opponent for each "Speed Spell" in your hand.
7: Draw 1 card.
10: Destroy 1 card on the field.
You can only have 1 of each type of chip except the field chips you can have 1 Speed World and 1 Speed World 2 Chip per duel runner. Duel Runners start with base chips.
Your Duel Runner's traits cannot go higher than 12.
Ex: You can have a trait of 9 power and later put a Power +3 chip thus putting your duel runner at 12 power. You cannot raise its power anymore.
The All Around Duel Runner though cannot have a trait higher than 9.
The Power Duel Runner cannot have a Speed and Endurance higher than 6.
The Speed duel runner cannot have a Power and Endurance higher than 6.
The Endurance Duel Runner cannot have a Speed and Power higher than 6
