I'm not going to sugarcoat this. There will be no fancy editing in order to let it appeal to the visual senses. No no.. This will be plain text in order to drill in the fact that GRAMMAR AND VOCABULARY ARE IMPORTANT!

I cannot stress these facts enough.

1) Never forget punctuation

Punctuation counts, and that means proper commas, apostrophes, periods, question marks (etc) are placed correctly in the sentence to allow for a fluid sound that rolls off the tongue, rather then back it up.

2) Spacing and Paragraphs

Remember that 4-5 sentences make a paragraph, and to always space for them. Remember to make a new paragraph for every new idea introduced to the paragraph or every new speaker.

3) Emphasis

It is always fun to emphasize a point by using ALL CAPS or Italics. By doing this, you draw the readers'(s) eye to your sentence and point, and (hopefully) make them realize that what is going on here is IMPORTANT.

4) Alliteration

By using the same capital letter throughout the sentence, it rolls off of the tongue easier and makes context slightly easier to focus on. It is easier and reduces time to read something done in Alliteration, and you can receive a reply much faster : D

5) Detail

Every single thing happening to your character needs to be stressed. Every minute detail needs to be confirmed in order for your rping partner to have a clear idea on what is going on and make it easier for them to post a reply. Everything your Character sees, hears, smells, tastes, feels, thinks, does, etc should all be written up.

Vocabulary

The choice of vocabulary you use while writing are very important. If you start every sentence with the same word, it can get quite repetitive and annoying. Try finding a Thesaurus if you need words that are different but have the same definition. Remember, keeping a varying vocabulary gives the impression of intelligence, and your reputation as well as an rper will increase.

Spelling

If you are using a modern version of your internet browser, there is a very high chance you have a spell check on it. The spell check can be identified as active when you find a red, squiggly line underneath the words that are spelled incorrectly. So fix them. Names should be capitalized, and that should remove the red line. If not, don’t worry about it (as long as the names are actually spelled right). As for everything else, edit the word so it is spelled correctly. There is nothing worse than reading a post riddled with incorrect spelling.
